A shipping company seeking an experienced Document Manager.
Your new company
Your new employer is a global leader in the shipping and logistics industry, operating in more than 100 countries.
Your new role
You will be responsible for a team of professionals to ensure import and export shipping and trading documentations are coordinated, accordingly. You will also closely liaise with other department leaders to provide excellent service and support to customers. As part of the senior leadership team of the division, you will also contribute to strategic process improvement initiatives to better the documentation processes.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Extensive experience in preparing and reviewing import & export shipping / trading documentations for all types of commodities via ocean / air / land freight.
- Implement trainings to review shipping / trading documentations and procedures for all commodities, when necessary.
- Proactive participation on system improvement and new project implementations.
- Work closely with customers, other departments (Sales, Logistics, Billing, IT, Branches and Operation).
- Experience with service providers is an added advantage.
- Direct people management experience.
- Regional exposure is a plus point.
