Genesis Online Sdn Bhd is engaged in E-Commerce businesses that cater to both local (Shopee, Lazada) and international (Amazon) marketplaces.

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and help manage our company’s procurement needs. 

Procurement Specialist responsibilities include researching new suppliers, improving and maintaining in-stock rates, and negotiating with vendors as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders
  • Communicate and resolve related issues and concerns with suppliers from China as well as monitor supplier performance
  • Create shipment orders and communicate with forwarders to monitor shipment status
  • Documentation of receipts and invoicing
  • Analyse demand trends and execute efficient inventory replenishment planning
  • Maintain marketplace account health and VAT status

Requirements and Skills:

  • Prior work experience as a Procurement Specialist or similar role preferred. Fresh graduates welcome to apply. Training to be provided.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Diploma or Degree in any fields
