We are currently looking for a Product Development & RA Executive to join a global chain pharmacy, with a legacy of over 20 years internationally. This role requires your urgent attention.

the role
- Develop New Products: The candidate is responsible for developing new products that align with the strategic needs of various markets with unique market conditions. They work closely with the R&D team to develop and innovate new products or new dosage forms that cater to the market’s needs. This involves identifying market trends, conducting market research, and staying updated with upcoming technologies, ingredients, and packaging materials.
- Ensure Regulatory Compliance: The candidate liaises with the internal regulatory team to understand and adhere to the rules and regulations applicable during the product development process. They ensure that the new products meet regulatory requirements and standards.
- Prepare Product Information for Business Development: The candidate prepares comprehensive product information, including highlighting the product’s uniqueness, selling points, and cost, to the business development team. This information is used to make proposals to customers and effectively communicate the value proposition of the new products.
- Conduct Market Research and Scientific Literature Review: The candidate conducts comprehensive market research to identify relevant clinical studies and scientific literature that support the marketing claims for new product development. They stay updated on the latest trends and consumer preferences in the health supplement industry.
- Additionally, they source new or alternative ingredients globally to ensure competitive pricing and maintain a branded ingredient and raw material database.
the experience
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. This educational background provides the foundation knowledge necessary for product development and formulation.
- Experience in Product Development: Good experience in product development and formulation, preferably in the dietary supplement or over-the-counter (OTC) products industry.
- Knowledge of Health Supplement Industry: Good knowledge of the health supplement industry, including an understanding of industry trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements.
