JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  1. Objectively review the organisation’s business processes.
  2. Perform the full audit cycle including risk management and assess the control over operations’ effectiveness, governance processes, reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations.
  3. Determine internal audit scope and develop annual plans.
  4. Provide continuous, constructive and value-adding improvements to areas being audited and ultimately improve company operations to enhance business growth.
  5. Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Audit & Risk Committees with constructive recommendations and corrective actions.
  6. Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.
  7. Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings.
  8. Maintain open communication with management and Audit & Risk committee.
  9. Document process and prepare audit findings memorandum and reports.
  10. Conduct ad hoc investigations into identified or reported risks.
  11. Conduct follow up audits to monitor management’s interventions on the implementation status of agreed action plans on audit findings.
  12. Participate in meetings with companies and departments to update on findings and the audit processes. 

REQUIREMENTS

  1. Degree in internal auditing / financial accounting / financial management or related field.
  2. Preferably accreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors.
  3. Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  4. Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
  5. Good documentation, communication and IT skills.
