A&W is a rapidly growing and dynamic fast food chain known for its delicious offerings and customer-focused service. With our aggressive expansion plans, we’re seeking skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable talents to join our finance team.
Responsibilities:-
- Take charge of the full spectrum of Accounts Payable
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements and etc
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining historical records
- Paying vendors by scheduling payments and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis related to accounts payable
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of accounts payable operations
- Recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets
- Tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must possess at least Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Year of Experience required:-
- Executive: Min 1-2 years, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Senior Executive: Min 3 years & above
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, in particular with Microsoft Excel
- Having knowledge of Microsoft Dynamix AX is an added advantage
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

A&W Malaysia was bought over by Eng Food Group, with an aggressive expansion drive to revamp and expand its reach.
Today, A&W Malaysia has over 80 outlets throughout Malaysia and planning to increase its number.
