Job Description:
- Ensure that Health, Safety, and Environment policies are in place. Oversee all health and safety issues at the warehouse: assess any hazards, report hazards to the Head Of Logistics, and take further safety action.
- Ensure the Warehouse, office, and grounds are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Oversee warehouse security; conduct daily & weekly checks of the security systems, secure facilities at the end of each day and respond to security issues after hours as required in coordination with the onsite security contractors and Head Of Logistics.
- Ensure that all equipment is set up and maintained as required, including lighting, small tools, office equipment, safety equipment, forklifts and etc.
- Always ensure the safe operation of the forklift.
- Ensuring that all loads are secure and undamaged.
- Inspect machinery and forklift to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
- Maintain Vehicle Inventory 100% all the time.
- Receive vehicles as they arrive and move them from tow trucks to designated inspection areas.
- Conduct pre-inspection exercise and proceed with Inbound Vehicle Inspection.
- Move and secure vehicles within the warehouse in the correct locations by asset type.
- Prepare vehicles for buyer viewing before the auction date.
- Ensure the integrity of inventory accuracy and manage stock movements with the help of direct reports.
- Contribute to creating and implementing the best warehouse & logistics processes and procedures to aid and improve operations.
Requirements:
- At least 2 – 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Warehouse/ Logistics/ Business Administration or equivalent.
- Required skill(s): warehouse, inventory, logistics management
- Must be able to drive a Forklift 5 Ton; a Forklift Driving license is an advantage.
- Good command of English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Knowledge in HSE (Safety, Health & Environment) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks with less supervision.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and operational skills.
- Has a positive approach, is self-motivated, is a team player, and possesses a high level of integrity.
