Full Job Description
The Physiotherapist is responsible to perform clinical work covered a broad spectrum of out patients and in patients physiotherapy services in all areas including electrotherapy, therapy exercise, pediatrics, orthopedics, intensive care unit, medical, surgical, general ward, ante natal classes and on-call duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- To undertake assessment and physiotherapy treatment of patients
- To adhere to proper care and safe working practices in handling patients and equipment
- To liaise with referring doctors, consultants specialists and staffs of other disciplines involved patient care
- To monitor patient during treatment and reassess patient after completion of treatment
- To record the treatment and progress into Physiotherapy Assessment Form
- To teach and counsel patients and their relatives in the course of the patients rehabilitation such as home program if necessary
- To participate in post graduate training, lectures and courses in order to increase knowledge of new techniques as well as to improve and maintain professional standards
- To relieve other physiotherapists whenever necessary
- To ensure all equipment’s are in good working condition and serviced regularly
- To keep patients records and relevant statistical information
- To undertake registration and billing of patients.
- To perform any other duties assign by the HOD and The Management from time to time
