We are currently looking for a Material Planner. FRESH GRADUATES with CGPA of 3.0 and above and from engineering discipline (material, industrial, mechanical, process, chemical and other engineering field) and supply chain management discipline ARE ALSO ENCOURAGED TO APPLY for this position.  A potential candidates shall possess the following: 

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/ Diploma in relevant field.
  • Required language(s): Thai, Vietnamese, Bahasa Malaysia, English
  • 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field
  • Required Skill(s): Analytical, MDI, RCCP
  • HBO thinking/working level
  • Either MBO with many years of experience, HBO with several years of experience, of WO without experience

 Responsibilities 

  • Create the material plan consisting of raw material, packaging material, trading goods and 3rd party produced materials
  • Align with Production Planners to ensure that raw and packaging materials are available before the planned start of production
  • Create Purchase Orders to the suppliers in line with agreements on lead times and quantities
  • Ensure that the material plan optimizes service level, inventory and costs
  • Work together with Production Planning to ensure that raw and packaging materials are available before the start of planned production
  • Review the 12wk outlook for the material plan, taking into account capacity agreements and storage capacity on the site
  • Review the RCMP to make sure that the outlook is feasible, and support the Material Planning Manager with analysis and gap closing proposals
  • Support the material controllers and the site with analyses when needed to create visibility
  • Support to allocate across production in case of limited stock availability
  • Provide impact analysis when needed to show the impact of decisions or scenarios to the plan
  • Support the Material Planning Manager on IBP process preparations
  • Balance service level and inventory, and have a good understanding of costs in supply chain and manufacturing
  • Actively participate in the SLOB process, and work together with the site, procurement and the DRP Planners to decrease SLOB
  • Work together with DRP Planners to ensure timely delivery of trading goods and 3rd party produced materials
  • Actively participate in the NPI/MoC/EoL processes where you focus on the raw and packaging materials
  • Actively participate in the MDI to manage exceptions proactively
  • Lead and participate in special projects
  • Facilitate gate keeping meeting with the site material controllers to proactively manage exceptions to the plan
  • Continuously improve processes, reporting and tools in order to improve performance
  • Maintain and improve master data parameters
  • Make sure that transactional data in the system is up to date and reflecting the reality
  • Proactively flag potential issues, and come with gap closing proposals to mitigate
  • Support on reporting where necessary
