Job Description

  • Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
  • Installing and configuring software and systems.
  • Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks.
  • Responding to IT Support requests and providing technical support across companies.
  • Assist employees through a series of actions, either face to face; email, remotely or over the telephone to resolve issues.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple open cases at one time via Ticketing System.
  • Repairing or replacing damaged hardware.
  • Patching/installing windows update and security.
  • Configure and maintain handhelds, barcode machines and other tools related to WMS system.
  • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
  • Managing technical documentation.
  • Escalate technical issues to System Vendor
  • Maintaining general tidiness of the workplace in the interests of Health and Safety.
  • Promote IT best practices and security awareness.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in information technology or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in computer networking and systems Maintenance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
