Data Analyst

  • Works closely with a team to build and improve databases, SSIS reports, SSIS packages for related applications.
  • Ability to work with non-technical end users to interpret and document user requirements and develop functional specifications.
  • Assisting different teams, main task is to check SQL Server database performance and identify solutions affecting applications in case this is identified.

·       Tackle and solve challenging problems.

  • Perform system maintenance tasks, such as data backup and software updates.

Technical Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and drivers.
  • Provide technical advice and explanation as required.
  • Diagnose hardware and software problems.
  • Network administration including network plan and IP address maintenance.
  • Server administration, server problem solving and manage user accounts etc

Other:

  • Provide daily computer system support, PC, Printer, Handheld Devices and network configuration, troubleshooting and repairing.
  • Perform IT controlled equipment purchase arrangement and provide information and recommendation for computer purchase
  • Participate actively on team meetings, ceremonies share knowledge with others
  • Off-hour availability is required. (Urgent situation only)
  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Preferably knowledge and experience in Microsoft SQL server
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Have some basic knowledge of programming languages.
  • Be able to read and analyze data based on user requirements.
  • Intermediate to advance proficency in MS Office – Excel (pivot table, charting, macros)
  • Good interpersonal, communications, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision and a team player.
  • Have own transport and willing to travel.
  • Able to work under pressure
