Head of Performing Arts

To manage and oversee the entire curriculum and development of Performing Arts Department.
To conduct and establish module for speech and drama and other related performing arts lessons especially in view of preparation of events.
To be the main person in-charge for our school activities, eg: Weekly Assembly (to incorporate Speech & Drama and Performing Arts), Festive Assembly, Year End Prize Giving & Concert.
To train teachers in the preparation of event.
To liaise with third-party provider/ academy and to ensure the programme/lessons outlined is delivered up to the expected standard.
To manage the budget allocated to Performing Arts Department which includes overseeing inventory and procurement side of the performing arts department.
To ensure Performing Arts Department can be a profit generating department through renting out of the facilities and auditorium in SBIS
To establish SOPs for Performing Arts and to monitor the payment to third party provider.
To provide a platform to enhance students’ creativity and confidence through Performing Arts.
To teach performing arts lesson to students
Other task may require by the company from time to time.

Job requirement

Degree in Performing Arts/Music or equivalent
Preferably at least 5 years related experience in international schools
High proficiency in English
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Result-oriented and a team player
