Job Description
Job Summary:
- Responsible for the implementation, managing and coordinating the Finance and Accounts function of the Group of Companies as well as compliance with the statutory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall financial and accounting functions of the Group
- Prepare monthly financial management reports and accounts promptly
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage cash flow, working capital and treasury functions
- Oversee the daily financial operations, budgeting, and taxation functions Examine and improve areas of internal controls and ensure proper maintenance of financial records
- Plan, organize, lead and motivate team members in the Finance Department Undertake specific assignments as instructed from time to time
- Analyze and interpret operational and accounting data as to explain variations and trends in relation to previous periods, budgets and forecasts (profit variance analysis, contribution margin analysis)
- Prepare annual budget forecast and periodic review
- Work with individuals from all functional areas in preparing, analyzing and communicating information to provide relevant, accurate, timely information that will be helpful to the management for decision-making
- Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet schedules and key performance indicators
- Review and ensure financial statements are prepared according to accounting standards Liaise with auditors in respect of audits, compliance and risk management issues
- Responsible for year-end closing and liaison with external auditors for annual financial audit
- Liaising with external auditors and tax agent to ensure compliance with statutory audit / tax requirements
- Tax estimates and tax submission to the Inland Revenue Authority
- Review and ensure tax schedules are completed on time for tax agent

Qualification & Experience:
- Professional Accountancy Qualification. A member of ACCA , CIMA and with MIA membership
- Preferably those with experience in retail, hotel and property investment Minimum 10 years working experience in the similar position is required for this role.
- Candidate should also possess at least 3-5 years external audit experience
- Preferably Managers specializing in Finance (General/Cost Accounting) or equivalent.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications
- Strong business acumen with good technical knowledge Pro-active, detail-oriented, committed enthusiastic and self-driven with high level of integrity
- Those who are able to start work in a short notice.
- Able to start immediately would be an advantage
