DESKRIPSI Jawatan Kosong

1. Strategy Initiative

Plan and prepare Strategies and Initiatives (S&I) for PLMM which consist of several objectives i.e. cost optimization, system enhancement, revenue growth, corporate governance, development of core competencies and capabilities through scrutinizing and challenging all S&I and consolidating based on categories and monitoring of approved S&I to support growth and continuous improvement.

2. Monthly/Quarterly Management Report 

Prepare and analyse Monthly/Quarterly Management Accounts (MMA/QMA) which focus on PLMM Statement of Financial Position and Channels performance through in-depth understanding of operation and surfacing key performance gaps for decision making by PLMM Board and Leadership Team (LT).

3. SAP COPA (Profitability analysis)

Plan and Execute COPA month-end run to ensure proper cost-allocation and profitability analysis existed for various segment reporting. Monitor the reasonableness of the results and undertake adjustment for any errors identified. 

4. Business Performance Scorecards

Plan and Execute the monthly Scorecards on company performance which requires analysis on the month and YTD movement against budget and SPLY. Provide analysis for each main line items in P&L. that includes performance by product group for Volume, Margin, Revenue, OPEX, CAPEX and DSO with high level commentaries.

This is also to review and monitor the effectiveness of initiatives and implementation efforts. Also, benchmarking, review and update of the KPIs and targets, and propose corrective actions and strategies to ensure alignment of the execution and implementation of the Business Strategies and Plans.

5. Reporting packs

Prepare and complete on timely manner the reporting packs on monthly basis. The packs consist of company performance with detail commentaries from Sales HODiv and analysis on OPEX/Other Income movement. Coordinate with the focal to ensure up to date and timely input. Discuss and come up with Year End Projection numbers as and when required.

Packs to be submitted for Manager and HODiv Finance review by the due date.

6. Master Budget

Coordinate, develop and analyse comprehensive master budget for PLMM for 5 years which focus on OPEX (controllable and non-controllable cost), taxation, other incomes, profitability and dividends by developing OPEX detail guidelines ( template for cost, standard unit rates, cost index and cost categories), consolidating divisional budgets, streamlining with approved strategies and intiatives, analysing unit production cost (UPC) and scrutinizing costs between Business As Usual and Growth for decision making by LTC), PGB Board and PETRONAS.

7. Budget Monitoring

Analyse, monitor and coordinate submission of monthly variance analyses from other departments and request for supplementary/transfer budget for OPEX and CAPEX from POD through scrutinizing over/under budget utilization, ensuring the completeness and validity of supporting documents for budget supplementary/transfer, providing guidance on the appropriate LOA for approval and monitoring overall threshold for supplementary/transfer budget for compliance to company’s procedures and Limit of Authority (LOA).

8. Cost Center Reporting

Prepare & Analyse expenses by each cost center and provide detail analysis to respective department on the status of OPEX budget utilized and follow up on all the cost reduction initiative planned.

9. Initiative/Add-hoc Task

Plan, coordinate & manage any additional tasks relating to the financial accounting operations. This may include among others but not limited to system and process improvements and company initiatives, adoption of internal and external policies as instructed by the Management etc.


  • Degree in Economics, Business, Accounting, Finance or its equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 3 years working experience with good knowledge / experience in research, business planning, strategy development and Microsoft office application
  • Experience in SAP system is an advantage
  • Possess an overview of the company’s business and operations and the petroleum industry.
  • Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal) presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Good knowledge / experience in research, business planning, strategy development and Microsoft office application
