Position Summary:

The Business Systems Manager will play a key role as expertise on business processes in Order Management, Inventory, Logistics and Distributions that interact with integrated warehouse management and transportation management software systems. This role operates in a scaled agile framework and in a global order fulfillment team. This individual will lead initiatives to analyze, and/or implement efficient and sustainable IT and business system solutions to support warehousing operations. This individual will work with cross-functional teams to optimize order fulfillment processes and systems to drive business process improvements, system automation, continuous improvement, and other duties associated with multiple sites production support. Additionally, this individual will lead a team of experts to support business requirement and align with corporate vision & mission.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the full end-to-end Oracle EBS projects from conceptual design, technical & feasibility study, development and implementation.
  • Collaborate with Global ERP team to deliver all Oracle projects to multiple sites via project planning and management.
  • Manage close relationship with multiple stakeholder at different hierarchy level to ensure effective communication and understandings.
  • Create presentations to help communicate complex technical, organizational, and project concepts and status
  • Manage resource allocation in both functional and technical perspective to enable follow-the-sun structure.
  • Maintain and promote documentation of business & systems processes from all aspect.
  • Participate in activities required to support production, including but not limited to troubleshooting, investigations, users support, periodic reviews, root cause analysis, preventive and corrective actions. 
  • Able to see the big picture and develop talent, resource and roadmap with a global mindset.
  • Support inspections and site audits as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Requirements:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 10-12 years related experience or Master’s degree and 8-10 years equivalent.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of applied experience in Oracle release 12.x Order Management, Inventory, Shipping including complex integrations with 3PLs, warehouse management, transportation management systems
  • 3+ years of experience with Electronic Data Interchange transactions or other equivalent integration tools.
  • 3+ years of experience in WMS applications, integration with other major warehouses or 3PLs and / or enterprise applications, for example, Oracle e-business suite
  • Understanding of any procurement system/module is preferred
  • Experienced with Oracle Purchasing or other 3rd party equivalent system is preferred.
  • Hands-on SQL and PL/SQL experience preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal and team skills
  • Proven people management experience in a matrix organization is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical users
  • Understanding of SDLC and project management skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams to drive and influence changes and improvements
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a demanding and fast-paced environment.

Plans manages and controls the activities of a team that provides technical expertise in identifying evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Brings expertise or identifies subject matter experts in support of multifunctional efforts to identify interpret and produce recommendations based on company systems needs. Advises business groups by providing technical and strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. Ensures that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Selects develops and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function.
