This job requires you to be in charge of closing the Company’s certain subsidiaries’ financial statements and supporting the Manager in matters related to the Group’s taxation.

Job Scope

  • Responsible for the timely, accurate completion of the Company & #39;s subsidiaries’ financial reporting obligations.
  • Review and/or draft subsidiaries’ financial statements.
  • Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
  • Ensure all submissions to all stakeholders are on time and accurate
  • Liaise with external auditors with regard to annual statutory external audits and any ad-hoc audits.
  • Liaise with internal auditors regarding any internal audit exercise.
  • To support the Tax Manager in overseeing and managing all tax matters including deferred taxation of the Group of companies, tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
  • Liaise with tax consultants in the preparation of Corporate Income Tax and tax estimation (CP204/CP204A).
  • Liaise with tax agents/tax departments to manage and resolve tax compliance matters and tax audits (if any).

Job Requirement

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and preferably with Professional Accountancy qualification
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance roles.
  • Working experience with PLC or a tax/audit/consulting firm will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in month-end closing, taxation, financial analysis, forecasting & budgeting.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, tax regulations, and any other relevant compliance requirements.
