This job requires you to be in charge of closing the Company’s certain subsidiaries’ financial statements and supporting the Manager in matters related to the Group’s taxation.
Job Scope
- Responsible for the timely, accurate completion of the Company & #39;s subsidiaries’ financial reporting obligations.
- Review and/or draft subsidiaries’ financial statements.
- Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances.
- Ensure all submissions to all stakeholders are on time and accurate
- Liaise with external auditors with regard to annual statutory external audits and any ad-hoc audits.
- Liaise with internal auditors regarding any internal audit exercise.
- To support the Tax Manager in overseeing and managing all tax matters including deferred taxation of the Group of companies, tax planning, compliance, and reporting.
- Liaise with tax consultants in the preparation of Corporate Income Tax and tax estimation (CP204/CP204A).
- Liaise with tax agents/tax departments to manage and resolve tax compliance matters and tax audits (if any).
Job Requirement
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and preferably with Professional Accountancy qualification
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in accounting and finance roles.
- Working experience with PLC or a tax/audit/consulting firm will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in month-end closing, taxation, financial analysis, forecasting & budgeting.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, tax regulations, and any other relevant compliance requirements.
