Jobs descriptions:
- Handle account payables, account receivables and preparation of journals
- Preparation of online remittances or cheque payments to suppliers
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and entered into the accounting system in a timely manner.
- Prepare sales invoice, debtor statements and credit control function
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage branch’s cash flow and ensure that funds are appropriately allocated to meet expenses.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions, including bills, payments, and receipts.
- Assist in compile budgets and forecasts, and monitor actual performance against the budgets and forecasts.
- Prepare schedule for audit and tax compliance purpose.
- Work closely with other departments for daily finance operation matters
- Provide financial and administrative support to other departments as required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least LCCI, or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field, preferably in the construction industry.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Experience with bank reconciliations and vendor reconciliation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an added advantage.
