Exactly who and what is MULTIKON? Those who know our company in addition to those who have worked together with us on the many projects we have handled and successfully completed, are already aware that MULTIKON is a well-known construction services companies in Indonesia, with a series of successes in high-rise building projects to our credit. What was to eventually become MULTIKON first started with the hard work of a dedicated group of engineers and technical staff involved in the development and construction of a 27-floor commercial and office building in Jakarta in 1982. They wanted to work together in the construction business, specifically the development of high-rise buildings. This goal was eventually realized with the setting up of PT Multibangun Adhitama Konstruksi, known as MULTIKON, on October 3, 1990. Eventually, MULTIKON began operations at the end of 1994, with all necessary infrastructure and systems having very carefully prepared between 1990 and 1994. During this period, MULTIKON also developed its human resources through working together with partners in similar companies. This patience in terms of intense preparation in fact provided positive values for the future development of MULTIKON, especially as regards having to face the multi-dimensional crisis that hit in 1998. Although many companies in the property business, and those in related fields, were badly affected by the crisis, MULTIKON did not in any way falter in its progress. In fact, after the crisis MULTIKON was one of the companies that obtained the first opportunities to start new projects. In line with improvements in the national economy, which now shows real signs of recovery, the construction business has also begun to show true progress. Based on the experience that it had gained in enduring very difficult situations, MULTIKON stepped up firmly to face the challenges of the future. Currently, MULTIKON is recognized and ready to provide services that fulfill the needs of project owners or developers. The key commitment of MULTIKON is to provide satisfaction to its clients by completing each project according to the deadline, quality, and budget laid down by the project owners. It is expected that the need for several different types of high-rise buildings will continue to increase in the future. This is both an opportunity as well as a challenge for MULTIKON.
