Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Video Colorist located in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta, Indonesia. The Video Colorist will be responsible for color grading our TikTok and social media videos, building and maintaining a consistent color look for each scent, and ensuring product colors and skin tones look accurate and premium on every video.
Responsibilities:
Color grade 60+ vertical (9:16) videos per month in DaVinci Resolve for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and Shopee.
Build and maintain a look library (PowerGrades, LUTs, reference stills) for each scent so every video stays consistent with brand guidelines.
Ensure bottle, liquid and packaging colors are accurate to the real product.
Keep skin tones natural and flattering across diverse Indonesian talent and mixed lighting conditions.
Match footage from mirrorless cameras, phones and creator UGC into one consistent look per video.
Prepare monitoring LUTs and camera settings for videographers on set.
Work with editors on Premiere and CapCut timelines and deliver files on spec (codecs, naming, versions).
Collaborate with the videographers, editors, creative and marketing teams to align the visual look with campaign objectives.
Give feedback on colors, props, wardrobe and lighting choices that will grade well.
Manage a fast turnaround while maintaining consistent quality.
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of experience in color grading for commercial, brand or social media content, including short-form vertical video.
Advanced skills in DaVinci Resolve (node-based grading, qualifiers, power windows, tracking, PowerGrade and LUT creation).
Able to read waveform, vectorscope and RGB parade.
Understanding of color management (DaVinci YRGB Color Managed or ACES) and log-to-Rec.709 workflows.
Strong eye for skin tones and product color accuracy.
Experience matching footage from multiple cameras and phones.
Familiar with Adobe Premiere Pro and CapCut for round-tripping and quick fixes.
Detail-oriented, fast and able to handle high volume without sacrificing quality.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, working English.
Experience in the fragrance or beauty industry is a plus.
Experience with on-set monitoring LUTs, CGI/3D footage, Fusion or After Effects is a plus.
