General Manager

Sambu Group is establishing a new subsidiary company in international coconut trading. We are looking for candidates with the ability and competencies to be General Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Familiar with International Commodity Trading.

2. Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken).

3. At least 10 years of work experience in international commodity trading, a minimum of 5 years in a managerial/structural position.

4. Willing to be placed at the business unit location specially in Indragiri Hilir, riau

Job description: 

1. Develop, plan, and implement coconut trading strategies in international markets to achieve sales targets and business growth.

2. Manage the sales and procurement processes of coconuts, including contract negotiation, pricing, and relationship management with customers and suppliers.

3. Conduct regular market analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the international coconut commodity market.

4. Ensure all trading activities comply with regulations, trade laws, and company policies.

5. Build and maintain strong relationships with trading partners, industry associations, and other stakeholders.

6. Prepare company performance reports and provide analysis to management to support strategic decision-making.
