About the role
Responsible for managing the full set of accounts for PT Jemco Manufacturing Indonesia, including financial reporting, month-end closing, inventory/costing and statutory compliance. The role requires an accounting professional with strong knowledge of accounting standards and Indonesian local authority requirements. As a newly established manufacturing company, the role will also support the setup of accounting processes and controls.
What you will do:
Manage the full set of accounts, including GL, AP, AR, cash/bank, fixed assets and month-end closing.
Establish and maintain proper accounting processes, procedures and internal controls for the newly established company.
Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and supporting schedules.
Perform bank, balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
Manage month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within deadlines.
Handle accounting for raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
Support manufacturing costing, production cost analysis and inventory reconciliation.
Monitor inventory movements and investigate stock/cost variances.
Support physical stock counts and ensure appropriate accounting treatment of inventory adjustments.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and applicable local statutory requirements.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field.
3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with full-set accounting exposure.
Prior experience in a manufacturing company is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting standards and local Indonesian statutory requirements.
Good knowledge of Indonesian taxation and compliance requirements.
Practical experience in inventory accounting and manufacturing costing.
Experience dealing with auditors, tax consultants and/or Indonesian authorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/SAP systems.
Experience with SAP Business One or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Good command of Bahasa Indonesia and English.
