Junior Architect

About the role

The Junior Architect translates concepts, sketches, and rough calculations from architects, engineers, and designers into precise technical drawings and specifications. Acting as the bridge between design and execution, the Drafter creates detailed drawings, 3D models, and construction schematics that guide field teams and contractors during building or manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate construction drawings (shop drawings, as-built drawings, structural/architectural details) using ArchiCAD/AutoCAD / Revit / SketchUp.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and architects to translate concepts into technical plans.

• Perform site visits and field measurements when required.

• Revise drawings based on client feedback and structural/site requirements.

• Maintain organized drawing archives and project documentation.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction drafting or architectural detailing.

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or relevant technical field (or equivalent proven experience).

• Expert in ArchiCAD, AutoCAD 2D/3D.

• Proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, or 3ds Max is a strong plus.

• Strong understanding of building materials, construction techniques, and structural detailing.

• Good communication skills and ability to meet project deadlines.

• Currently residing in or willing to relocate to Bali.

• Good English proficiency is a plus.
