QA tester manual

About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester with 3–4 years of experience to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product teams to validate new features, identify defects, and maintain high-quality software releases across business applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on business and functional requirements.

• Perform manual testing for web, mobile, and internal business applications.

• Execute Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Integration Testing, Smoke Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support.

• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools until resolution.

• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to ensure timely issue resolution.

• Validate bug fixes and ensure released features meet quality standards.

• Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback from a QA perspective.

• Prepare testing documentation, reports, and release sign-offs.

• Support production validation after deployment when required.

About you

• 3–4 years of experience as a Manual QA Tester or Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

• Experience testing web and mobile applications.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

• Experience supporting UAT and release cycles.

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, and defect reports.

• Familiar with API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.

• Experience using bug tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.

• Familiar with browser developer tools for debugging.
