About the role
We are seeking a talented Drafter Interior Design to join our team on a full-time basis in our Seminyak, Bali office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in translating interior design concepts into detailed technical drawings and documentation. As a Drafter Interior Design, you will work closely with our design team and architects to produce accurate, comprehensive drawings and specifications that guide the construction and installation of interior spaces. This position is essential to our design process, ensuring that every project meets our high standards of precision and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
Prepare detailed architectural and interior design drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details
Convert design concepts and sketches into accurate CAD drawings and technical documentation
Collaborate with interior designers and architects to understand project requirements and design intent
Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations
Produce specifications and material schedules for interior projects
Maintain and organise project files, drawings, and documentation in a systematic manner
Revise and update drawings based on feedback from designers, architects, and clients
Participate in project meetings and provide technical input on feasibility and construction documentation
Support the preparation of drawings for client presentations and tender submissions
Coordinate with contractors and suppliers regarding technical clarifications and site-specific requirements
What we're looking for
Proficiency in CAD software, with AutoCAD being essential; experience with BIM tools such as Revit is highly desirable
Strong understanding of interior design principles, materials, and construction methods
Solid knowledge of architectural standards, building codes, and technical drawing conventions
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical documentation
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and respond to feedback constructively
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Good communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
A diploma or degree in architectural drafting, interior design, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in architectural drafting or a similar role
Portfolio demonstrating technical drawing abilities and knowledge of interior design documentation
Familiarity with local building regulations and construction practices in Bali or Indonesia is advantageous
