Application Development Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Application Developer Engineer to support application development and management within a Cloud Computing and Data Center environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage applications within Cloud Computing service catalogs

• Support the management and development of applications in Cloud Computing and VMware environments

• Analyze business processes and prepare business analysis documents, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD)

• Apply appropriate application development methodologies based on project requirements

• Support the management and development of applications within Data Center environments

• Monitor application performance, availability, and overall system functionality

• Utilize ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) for application monitoring and log analysis

• Collaborate with relevant teams to support application development, implementation, and continuous improvement

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field

• Minimum 7 years of experience in application management and/or application development

• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing or developing Data Center applications

• Good understanding of Cloud Computing application development concepts

• Good understanding of VMware Cloud Computing fundamentals

• Experience in business process analysis and preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRD)

• Understanding of various application development methodologies

• Familiarity with ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana)

• Application development-related certifications are highly preferred

• Certifications in DevSecOps, Machine Learning, or AI are an advantage
