Distribution Supervisor
Key responsibilities
Oversee daily distribution activities, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and quality standards in all distribution activities.
Supervise, train, and evaluate distribution staff and drivers to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols.
Plan and coordinate transportation logistics to ensure timely delivery of products to customers and distribution centers.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of stock movements in the warehouse.
Identify areas for improvement in distribution processes and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
Prepare reports on distribution metrics, including shipment accuracy, delivery times, and inventory levels.
Provide insights and recommendations to management based on analysis of distribution data.
About you
Min. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Has at least 3-5 years of experience in a distribution or logistics role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
Experience in managing teams and coordinating distribution activities.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance practices.
