About the role
We are seeking a talented E-commerce Specialist to join PT BE BEST INTERNATIONAL in Tangerang, Banten. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our online sales strategy and digital marketplace presence. As an E-commerce Specialist, you will be responsible for optimizing our online platforms, managing product listings, and implementing marketing communications strategies that enhance customer engagement and conversion rates. This role is integral to our company's growth in the rapidly expanding digital commerce landscape and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on our business objectives.
Key responsibilities
Manage and optimize e-commerce platforms, including product listings, pricing strategies, and inventory management across multiple online channels
Develop and execute marketing communications campaigns tailored to drive traffic and increase sales through digital channels
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our e-commerce operations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing communications with overall e-commerce strategy
Monitor and analyse e-commerce performance metrics, including conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on investment
Create compelling product descriptions, promotional content, and marketing materials designed to attract and retain customers
Manage customer relationships and address enquiries through e-commerce platforms to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Identify and implement new e-commerce technologies and tools to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience
Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery and product availability
Report on e-commerce performance to senior management and provide recommendations for strategic improvements
What we're looking for
Proven experience of at least 2-3 years working in e-commerce, digital marketing, or marketing communications
Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, marketplaces (such as Shopee, Tokopedia, Lazada), and online retail operations
Excellent knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing
Proficiency in using analytics tools and interpreting data to inform strategic decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian
Experience with content management systems and e-commerce software platforms
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining attention to detail
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to address e-commerce challenges
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
Experience with graphic design or content creation tools is advantageous
Knowledge of consumer behavior and market trends in the e-commerce sector
