Sekolah Bogor Raya (SBR) is a leading international-standard school located in the green and scenic city of Bogor, Indonesia. Established in 1995, SBR provides a high-quality education through nationally and internationally recognized curricula, including the International Baccalaureate (IB) and Cambridge Programmes.

Our educational programs range from Playgroup to Senior High School, and we are authorized to offer the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) and GAC Certificate.

As our school community continues to grow, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join the SBR family.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate English Teacher with excellent English proficiency and natural, confident communication skills. The successful candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment while developing students’ communication, creativity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for Secondary School students.

• Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered classroom environment.

• Encourage students to develop confidence and enthusiasm in using English.

• Collaborate with teachers and academic leaders to support high-quality teaching and learning.

• Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues regarding student progress and wellbeing.

• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development programs.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, or a related field.

• TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent certification required.

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school.

• Experience teaching Middle/High School students; IB or Cambridge experience is an advantage.

• Excellent spoken and written English with natural, authentic pronunciation.

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

• Creative, energetic, adaptable, and committed to student success.

• Experience in a multicultural/international environment is highly valued.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Google Classroom.

• Willing to be based in Bogor, Indonesia.
