Finance & Accounting Supervisor

Keep the Business Moving Through Strong Financial Control & Accurate Accounting

ZUMA is a fast-growing Indonesian lifestyle sandal brand with a growing retail network across Indonesia, supported by digital, marketplace, wholesale, warehouse, and other business channels.

As our business continues to expand, we are looking for a proactive and hands-on Finance & Accounting Supervisor to strengthen financial control, ensure accounting accuracy, monitor cash flow and receivables, and supervise the Finance & Accounting team across ZUMA Group.

This role is ideal for someone who can balance financial control, accounting accuracy, and operational speed in a fast-moving retail environment.

What You Will Own

Finance Operations & Cash Flow

• Review and approve vendor payments, operational payments, advances, reimbursements, and expense settlements.

• Monitor daily cash positions, bank balances, and bank transactions across the Group.

• Prepare and monitor cash flow projections and monthly ZUMA Group Cash Flow Reports.

• Perform bank reconciliation and coordinate with banking partners and related service providers.

• Conduct and supervise periodic cash counts.

Accounting & Month-End Closing

• Supervise daily accounting transactions and ensure accurate recording in the accounting system.

• Review journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and account classifications.

• Monitor General Ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Coordinate and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.

• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure necessary corrections are completed.

Accounts Receivable & Payable

• Monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) across branches and business units.

• Follow up outstanding and overdue receivables with relevant departments.

• Monitor Accounts Payable (AP), vendor due dates, and outstanding obligations.

• Ensure AR/AP balances are properly recorded, reconciled, and supported by complete documentation.

Reporting & Financial Control

• Support the preparation and review of monthly financial reports.

• Ensure financial data is accurate, complete, and ready for management review.

• Monitor significant financial variances and provide supporting analysis when required.

• Maintain proper finance and accounting documentation.

• Support internal audit, external audit, and management review processes.

• Identify opportunities to strengthen financial controls and improve processes.

Team Supervision & Coordination

• Supervise the Finance & Accounting team and ensure daily activities are completed accurately and on time.

• Monitor workload, performance, and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).

• Review team output and provide guidance when issues or discrepancies occur.

• Coordinate closely with Tax, Retail Operations, Branch, Warehouse, Procurement, HRGA, and Management.

• Support new stores, branches, warehouses, and other business initiatives from a Finance & Accounting perspective.

Scope of Responsibility

This role supports Finance & Accounting operations across ZUMA Group, including Head Office, retail stores, branches, warehouses, wholesale operations, and other business units.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting, preferably with supervisory or team-leading experience.

• Experience in retail, distribution, FMCG, or multi-branch companies is preferred.

• Strong understanding of cash flow, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, General Ledger, month-end closing, and financial reporting.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.

• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication, coordination, and team supervision skills.

• High level of integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.

• Proactive, structured, and solution-oriented.
