Job Responsibilities
• Handle vessel agency services for both international and domestic vessels.
• Coordinate vessel arrival, berthing, cargo operations, port clearance, and departure with all related parties.
• Communicate and coordinate with Harbour Master (KSOP), Port Authorities, Pilots, Customs, Immigration, Quarantine (CIQP), terminals, ship owners, charterers, and principals.
• Prepare and process all vessel-related documentation, including Port Clearance, PDA (Proforma Disbursement Account), FDA (Final Disbursement Account), and other operational documents.
• Develop shipment plans and monitor cargo delivery to ensure on-time performance.
• Cooperate with transport providers and stakeholders to improve delivery efficiency and achieve lead time targets.
• Optimize shipping costs while maintaining operational efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor, measure, and evaluate transporter and service provider performance.
• Manage vessel schedules and ensure smooth operational execution.
• Handle crew changes, spare parts delivery, and other ship husbandry services.
• Ensure all operational KPIs are achieved in accordance with principal requirements.
• Maintain a good understanding of PKKA procedures and related shipping system applications.
• Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to the Operation Manager and Operation General Manager.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
• Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, or other related disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ship agency, shipping line, maritime operations, or related industries. Outstanding fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience handling international and domestic vessel calls is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of Indonesian port operations, port clearance procedures, and immigration/CIQP documentation.
• Familiar with major Indonesian ports, especially in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Maluku, and other regions.
• Good understanding of vessel documentation, PDA/FDA preparation, and port operational procedures.
• Strong coordination, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, detail-oriented, responsible, and result-oriented.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
• Willing to travel for vessel attendance when required.
