Engineering Manager

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Engineering, preferably in a manufacturing/chemical industry or similar plant environment.

• Strong knowledge of plant engineering, utilities, WWTP, electrical & automation systems, civil works, and engineering projects.

• Proficient in engineering/technical drawings and project management, with experience managing contractors and vendors.

• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team management skills, with a hands-on approach to plant engineering.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise engineering activities to ensure smooth, efficient, and reliable plant operations.

• Manage and oversee plant utilities, electrical systems, PLC, instrumentation, automation, production machinery, and other plant technical systems.

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise engineering, civil, infrastructure, and plant development projects.

• Prepare, read, and review engineering drawings, technical drawings, machine layouts, and civil drawings for plant projects.

• Manage contractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

• Identify and implement engineering improvements, automation, energy efficiency, and process optimization to improve plant productivity.

• Manage CAPEX, project budgets, material requirements, and engineering resources in accordance with company objectives.

• Ensure engineering, utility, WWTP, civil, and project activities comply with HSE, environmental regulations, and applicable standards.

• Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team while promoting accountability, teamwork, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
