Operations Excellence Specialist for Heavy Equipment Transport Logistics

About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Excellence Specialist to drive continuous improvement initiatives across our heavy equipment transportation operations. In this role, you will analyze operational performance, optimize business processes, develop operational standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, service quality, and overall operational performance through data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze operational performance to identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable recommendations.

• Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operational processes and SOPs to ensure consistent execution.

• Monitor key operational metrics, KPIs, and SLAs, and prepare performance reports for management.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, service quality, and cost optimization.

• Conduct root cause analysis and facilitate problem-solving sessions with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Gather business requirements and support process digitalization, automation, and system enhancement initiatives.

• Evaluate operational workflows and governance to ensure compliance with company standards and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with Operations, Commercial, Product, Engineering, and other internal stakeholders to drive operational improvements.

• Ensure operational initiatives comply with Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) standards and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Operations Excellence, Business Process Improvement, Operational Strategy, Process Improvement, Industrial Engineering, or similar roles.

• Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, heavy equipment, or related industries will be an advantage.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into business insights.

• Experience in process mapping, SOP development, KPI management, and operational performance analysis.

• Familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Kaizen, or similar frameworks.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio) is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
