CX Engineer (Commissioning Engineer)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced CX Engineer (Commissioning Engineer) to lead the commissioning and testing activities for large-scale data center projects. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of data center commissioning standards (CX1–CX5), testing methodologies, and experience managing end-to-end commissioning activities for projects exceeding 5MW.
Responsibilities
As a CX Engineer (Commissioning Engineer), you will be responsible for:
Lead data center testing solutions, including testing standards, test scripts, testing tools, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimation, and testing schedule evaluation.
Plan and execute end-to-end data center commissioning and testing activities.
Coordinate tool rental, dummy load rental, manpower allocation, and subcontractor management.
Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders throughout the commissioning process.
Prepare commissioning procedures, testing documentation, and final test reports.
Monitor testing progress and ensure all commissioning activities comply with project specifications and industry standards.
Optimize testing resources and subcontractor costs while maintaining quality and project timelines.
Lead the commissioning team to successfully complete testing and project handover.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
Strong understanding of Data Center Commissioning Standards (CX1–CX5).
In-depth knowledge of commissioning procedures, testing cycles, responsibility interfaces, testing tools, dummy load solutions, commissioning costs, and optimization.
Proven ability to independently lead data center commissioning and testing activities.
Experience preparing commissioning test scripts and technical documentation.
Strong experience managing subcontractors and coordinating on-site commissioning activities.
Excellent communication skills to work with customers, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Minimum experience handling data center commissioning projects with a capacity exceeding 5MW.
Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
