Environmental Engineer (AHES Project)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations, and company environmental standards.

• Manage environmental permits, including Wastewater Technical Approval, Air Emission Technical Approval, and Hazardous Waste (B3) Management permits.

• Prepare and submit Environmental Management and Monitoring Reports (Detailed RKL-RPL) in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Perform environmental inspections related to wastewater treatment, air emissions, hazardous waste (B3), and domestic solid waste management.

• Analyze environmental monitoring data, prepare reports, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct environmental aspect identification, impact assessment, and environmental risk assessments.

• Investigate environmental incidents or pollution events and develop corrective and preventive improvement plans.

• Support environmental audits, government inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.

• Coordinate with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders regarding environmental matters.

• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the company's PROPER Environmental Performance Program.

Requirements

• Minimal Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mining, mineral processing, or smelter industry.

• Hold a valid General K3 Expert (AK3U) certificate.

• Possess PPA, PPU, and/or PLB3 Supervisor Level Certification (preferred).

• Strong understanding of:

  • Indonesian Environmental Regulations

  • Environmental Licensing

  • PROPER Environmental Performance Assessment

  • SIMPEL Reporting System

  • Wastewater Management

  • Air Emission Management

  • Hazardous Waste (B3) Management

• Experienced in preparing RKL-RPL implementation reports.

• Able to conduct environmental inspections, monitoring, and environmental risk assessments.

• Experienced in environmental monitoring data analysis and report preparation.
