Technical Superintendent

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of vessels assigned by management.

• Ensure vessels operate in accordance with applicable work contracts.

• Monitor inventory, implement the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), and ensure vessel repairs are carried out correctly, effectively, and on time.

• Control fuel consumption and prevent fuel misuse on board.

• Monitor crew rotation and crew performance.

• Perform other tasks as assigned to support smooth operations.

• Ensure vessels comply with all national shipping regulations related to safety, security, and the environment, and stay abreast of regulatory updates.

• Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, marketing, finance, and licensing) to ensure smooth vessel operations.

• Conduct vessel inspections and follow up on inspection findings, both internally and externally.

• Arrange crew change approvals for on-signer and off-signer crew.

• Prepare supporting documents for monthly ship reports as needed and submit them to the charterer (ship user) every month.

Requirements:

• Hold ATT II Seafaring Certificate is preferred.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Superintendent

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Chief Engineer

• Microsoft Office – Proficiency in and ability to use computers effectively to create work reports.

• Minimum 2 years of onshore work experience preferred
