Our client is a rapidly growing FinTech company operating in Indonesia, specializing in digital payment solutions, smart POS hardware, merchant SaaS platforms, and integrated payment ecosystems.
The company serves a growing network of merchants and businesses through technology-driven payment and financial solutions. As the business continues to scale, the company is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who understands the Indonesian FinTech industry and knows how to manage and scale day-to-day operations in Indonesia.
Job Role
The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the company's day-to-day business operations in Indonesia, ensuring that processes, teams, systems, and operational activities run efficiently and can support continued business growth.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will work closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Support teams to improve operational efficiency, establish strong SOPs, manage operational risks, and ensure smooth execution across the organization.
We are specifically looking for someone who has strong hands-on experience in FinTech, P2P Lending, Digital Payment, E-Wallet, Payment Gateway, or a similar financial technology business in Indonesia.
The ideal candidate should understand how FinTech operations work in the Indonesian market and be comfortable managing fast-paced, technology-driven, and highly regulated business environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage end-to-end daily business operations in Indonesia.
Build and improve operational processes, SOPs, workflows, and internal controls.
Manage and develop the Operations team to ensure strong execution and accountability.
Coordinate closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, Compliance, and Customer Support.
Monitor operational performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
Ensure smooth execution of merchant, customer, payment, and other operational processes.
Identify operational risks and develop practical solutions to minimize business impact.
Develop scalable operational processes to support business expansion.
Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service quality, and efficiency.
Manage operational resources and support cost optimization initiatives.
Prepare operational reports and recommendations for the CEO and management team.
Support the company in building a strong, scalable, and efficient operating structure in Indonesia.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
Minimum 5 years of management experience in FinTech or financial technology operations.
Strong preference for candidates from P2P Lending, Digital Payment, Payment Gateway, E-Wallet, Digital Banking, POS Payment, or similar businesses.
Strong understanding of how FinTech businesses operate in Indonesia is required.
Proven experience managing and scaling operational teams and business processes.
Strong understanding of SOP development, process improvement, workflow optimization, and operational controls.
Experience working with multiple functions such as Product, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Sales, and Customer Support.
Strong understanding of operational risk, business processes, and service quality.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.
Working proficiency in English is required.
Highly hands-on, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
