Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager who will become part of our existing team, supporting, leading and optimizing our manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all production activities to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational excellence while developing high-performing production teams.
Main Duties:
Take an active role in factory production planning
Manage production schedule for on-time completion
Monitor production to resolve issues
Ensure output meets quality standards
Identify and address key concerns that may alter or impact production schedule
Estimate costs and prepare budgets
Setting productivity goals
Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
Evaluating machine resources to ensure continued production
Establishing a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations
Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality
Create and manage WIP report for tracking development
Motivating, supporting and providing guidance to production staff
Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (supervisors, workers etc.)
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
Ensuring adequate scheduling of staff
Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production
Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
Manage shipping schedule for on-time delivery
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1), Preferably in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
8 or more years of experience in a production or product-management role
Willing to work in Jember, Jawa Timur
Fluent in English, both Verbal and written
Deep knowledge of production management
Knowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting concepts
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
Proficient in MS Office software
Excellent organizational and leaderships skills
Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
