Cost Accounting Specialist (Karawang)

Requirements:

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Good university graduate with strong academic performance (good GPA) is preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Cost Accountant or in a similar cost accounting role.

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory valuation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze cost accounting reports and product cost calculations.

• Monitor manufacturing and operational costs to ensure accurate cost allocation.

• Conduct variance analysis and investigate cost discrepancies.

• Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.

• Maintain and improve standard costing systems and procedures.

• Work closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to optimize costs.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes related to inventory and cost accounting.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Prepare management reports and provide recommendations for cost efficiency improvements.
