Officer Procurement

About the role

PT Cipta Krida Bahari is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Officer Procurement to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Surabaya, East Java. As Officer Procurement, you will play a crucial role in our procurement and supply chain operations, ensuring that we source materials and services efficiently whilst maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness. This position is integral to supporting our manufacturing, transportation and logistics operations and directly contributes to the success of our business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating favourable terms and conditions to secure the best value for money

• Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies

• Monitor supplier performance and maintain relationships with key vendors to ensure consistent service delivery

• Track inventory levels and work with operations teams to ensure adequate stock of materials and supplies

• Process purchase requisitions and coordinate with relevant departments to fulfil their procurement needs

• Conduct market research and analyse pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities

• Maintain procurement records and databases, ensuring all documentation is organised and accessible

• Liaise with finance and operations teams to ensure procurement activities align with budget constraints and operational requirements

• Assist in developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures

• Handle expediting of orders and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality of goods

What we're looking for

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, any field.

• At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

• Have experience in trucking

• Preferably Coordinators specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material, Trucking, & Warehouse Management or equivalent.

• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skill
