About the role
Chorus Coffee is seeking a talented and passionate Barista to join our team in Bandung. This is a full-time position where you will be crafting exceptional coffee experiences and delivering outstanding customer service. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and reputation of Chorus Coffee, ensuring every customer interaction leaves a lasting positive impression. Your expertise in beverage preparation and your enthusiasm for coffee culture will be instrumental in creating an inviting atmosphere that keeps our guests returning.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and serve a wide variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, and specialty drinks, with consistent quality and precision
Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other equipments
Maintain impeccable hygiene and cleanliness standards
Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders accurately and addressing customer inquiries and requests promptly
Process payments accurately using point-of-sale systems
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
What we're looking for
Proven experience working as a Barista in a specialty coffee or hospitality setting, with demonstrated expertise in espresso machine operation and beverage preparation
Strong knowledge of coffee varieties, origins, and brewing methods, with a genuine passion for specialty coffee
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a warm and professional manner
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in every beverage prepared
Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
