Construction Manager (Shipyard | Based in Batam I Alternate Saturdays)

Job Description

• Coordinate onsite activities to ensure project milestones are achieved safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality standards.

• Ensure subcontractors and vendors perform work according to project specifications, Classification Society rules, regulations, and industry best practices.

• Liaise closely with Owner Representatives and Class Surveyors to resolve technical issues during construction and execution phases.

• Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance, and implement corrective actions for quality and safety non-compliances.

• Prepare Lesson Learned reports to prevent recurrence of issues and improve project execution.

• Develop and manage production schedules to ensure proper work sequencing and minimize rework.

• This role is based full-time in Batam, Indonesia.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in shipbuilding/newbuilding projects.
