Job Description:
Manage the end-to-end merchandise process, from planning and sourcing to production and distribution.
Develop and execute merchandise plans aligned with the company’s branding and business objectives.
Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and contract terms with vendors.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate merchandise records.
Coordinate merchandise production schedules and ensure deadlines are met.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all merchandise meets company standards and brand guidelines.
Collaborate with internal departments to understand merchandise requirements for events, campaigns, employee programs, and corporate gifting.
Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Handle purchase orders, shipment tracking, and delivery coordination.
Analyze merchandise performance and recommend improvements based on demand and usage trends.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting related to merchandise procurement and inventory.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management is Mandatory.
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in merchandising, procurement, purchasing, or vendor management.
Experience managing corporate merchandise, promotional items, or branded products is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
Good understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
