Key responsibilities
Conduct routine quality inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress products, and finished goods
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures
Perform microbiological and chemical testing to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
Document and analyse test results, identifying trends and areas for improvement
Investigate quality issues and deviations, working with production teams to implement corrective actions
Ensure compliance with local and international food safety regulations, including HACCP and ISO standards
Conduct regular audits of production facilities, equipment, and processes
Maintain detailed records and reports on all quality control activities
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and management teams to resolve quality concerns
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation projects
What we're looking for
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field
1-4 years of professional experience in quality assurance within the food and beverage industry
Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and quality management systems
Proficiency in laboratory testing techniques and analytical methods
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately with data and documentation
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex quality issues
Good understanding of Indonesian and international food safety regulations
Proficiency in English and Indonesian languages, both written and verbal
Competency in using quality assurance software and laboratory information systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
