Staff Engineering (Workshop)

Qualifications

• Diploma (D3) / Bachelor's degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the automotive industry

• Capable of problem analysis (Problem Line)

• Able to speak and write in English / Japanese (advantageous)

• Able to read and create technical drawings

• Knowledgeable in machinery, capable of programming and operating CNC machines (Milling & Lathe)

• Skilled in mechanical design and technical drawing using AUTOCAD 2D & 3D

• Can do Welding process

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools.

• Analyze and resolve production issues to improve efficiency.

• Operate and program CNC machines (Milling & Lathe).

• Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth production processes.

• Test and validate new products before mass production.

• Oversees equipment maintenance, implements preventive programs, and manages the daily operations of a workshop to ensure machinery performs reliably and cost-effectively.

• Monitor production data and recommend process improvements.

• Stay updated on engineering technologies and industry standards.

• Support innovation and process changes for continuous improvement.
