Data Center Operation Manager

As Data Center Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the organization's data center facilities, ensuring high availability, reliability, and efficiency of IT infrastructure and critical systems. This role manages data center operations teams, coordinates maintenance activities, ensures compliance with operational standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

We are currently representing one of our client in the Data Center Industry who is looking to expand their team.

Description

• Manage daily data center operations to ensure maximum uptime and service availability
• Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure, including servers, storage, network equipment, power systems, cooling systems, and physical security controls
• Ensure all operational activities comply with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards
• Ensure timely response and resolution of incidents, outages, and operational issues
• Lead, mentor, and manager the Operation team consists of Engineers and Technicians
• Plan and manage data center capacity, including power, cooling, rack space, and infrastructure growth.
• Monitor performance metrics and identify optimization opportunities
• Manage relationships with data center vendors, service providers, and contractors
• Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and management presentations

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• Minimum 10 years experience in managing mission-critical environments with 24x7 operations
• Strong understanding of data center facilities and MEP infrastructures
• Good customer experience and leadership skills
• Familiarity with data center design principles, including redundancy and scalability
• Familiarity with industry standards and best practices such as Uptime
• Fluency in English
