Finance, Accounts and Tax Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Finance, Accounts and Tax Supervisor to join our team at PT Karya Putra Borneo, based in Jakarta Selatan, Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health and compliance of our organization. As Finance, Accounts and Tax Supervisor, you will oversee critical accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage tax compliance matters. This role is strategically important to the company as it directly supports our financial operations, regulatory obligations, and informed decision-making at all levels of the business.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily accounting operations and ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with Indonesian accounting standards

• Prepare, review and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank statements and other financial records on a regular basis

• Manage the preparation of financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment management and collections

• Coordinate tax compliance activities, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax regulations

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper documentation

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support management decision-making

• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities and other regulatory bodies as required

• Train, guide and supervise junior finance and accounting staff, ensuring professional development and adherence to accounting policies

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement controls to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy

What we're looking for

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Accounting (S1) or Taxation with Tax Course Certificate.

• Minimum 9 years of experience in an Accounting, Finance and Tax role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity

• Demonstrated expertise in financial accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and tax compliance

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, VAT requirements and financial reporting standards

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial matters

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial information clearly

• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments and external stakeholders

• Proven leadership capability and experience in supervising and developing team members

• Knowledge of internal control principles and ability to implement and maintain financial controls
