Head of Project Construction

Key Responsibilities :

1. Project Execution & Ownership

• Lead the full delivery lifecycle of Datra’s active infrastructure and equipment projects.

• Ensure timely mobilization, progress, billing, and completion.

• Deliver high standards of field execution, safety, and stakeholder confidence.

1. Budgeting & Financial Control

• Oversee project budget creation with clear documentation and trifecta approval (including at least one director).

• Monitor real-time cost vs budget performance; raise early alerts on variances.

• Align with Finance and Sales to ensure progress payments are invoiced and collected per schedule.

1. Systematized Tracking & Reporting

• Maintain a unified project dashboard tracking scope, progress, timeline, billing, and issues.

• Use project management tools and automation platforms to maintain visibility, drive coordination, and create operational transparency.

• Use Datra’s Odoo ERP

1. Team Leadership & Development

• Build and lead a hybrid team of white-collar PMs/engineers and blue-collar workers.

• Provide training, performance feedback, and a sense of ownership and safety.

• Cultivate a culture of discipline, care, and pride among execution teams.

1. Problem-Solving & Communication

• Lead internal and external tough conversations with calm, assertiveness, and clarity.

• Translate project data into insights and action, not just reports.

• Maintain close working rhythms with COO, CEO, and other department heads.

1. Process & Learning

• Improve and enforce SOPs for delivery, handovers, and project closeout.

• Capture lessons from each project and refine Datra’s playbooks and standards.

• Pilot use of AI tools and data systems to increase execution intelligence.

Qualification :

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.

• Minimum 8–10 years in project management, including leadership responsibility.

• Having a valid SKA (Certificate of Expertise) in Construction Management – Principal (Utama) level.

• Proven experience leading or significantly contributing to projects valued IDR 50 billion and above, or equivalent complexity.

• Track record of managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors.

• Strong familiarity with budgeting, procurement, and commercial structure of infrastructure projects.

• Comfort with project management tools and basic automation systems.

• Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and strong command of English for international coordination.

Preferred Qualities :

• Passion for sports, public space, architecture, or community-based infrastructure.

• Experience in projects involving creative, experiential, or sports-driven design elements.

• Exposure to automation, AI-assisted PM tools, or construction tech solutions.

• Ability to translate data into real-time decisions and team alignment.
