About the role

PT Honour Lane Shipping is seeking an Outdoor Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team in South Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in driving our business growth and expanding our market presence. As an Outdoor Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and generating revenue through direct client engagement. This role offers the opportunity to work in the fast-paced shipping and logistics industry, where your efforts will directly contribute to the company's strategic objectives and market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the shipping and logistics sector, building a robust pipeline of potential clients

• Conduct field visits to prospective and existing clients to understand their shipping requirements and present tailored solutions

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business

• Present company services, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets

• Prepare detailed sales proposals and quotations based on client specifications and market conditions

• Collaborate with internal teams including operations and customer service to ensure seamless service delivery

• Maintain accurate sales records and customer information in the company's CRM system

• Participate in industry events, trade shows and networking functions to promote company services and generate leads

• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify emerging opportunities and inform sales strategy

• Report on sales performance, pipeline status and market feedback to senior management

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in outdoor/field sales, preferably within the shipping, logistics or transportation industry

• Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets through direct client engagement and relationship building

• Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively

• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to close deals in a competitive marketplace

• Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying new business opportunities

• Proficiency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are advantageous

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for frequent field visits

• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining strong collaboration with internal teams

• Knowledge of shipping industry practices, vessel types and freight services is highly desirable

• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification is preferred
