Backend Developer

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side components, including APIs, databases, and services to support front-end functionality.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

• Develop, test, and optimize code for performance, scalability, and security.

• Implement and maintain database structures, queries, and stored procedures.

• Ensure high code quality through regular code reviews, unit testing, and performance monitoring.

• Debug and troubleshoot issues across the entire stack, ensuring timely resolution of problems.

• Document code, processes, and maintain technical specifications for ongoing development and future reference.

• Stay updated on industry best practices, emerging technologies, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• At least 1 year experience as a Backend Developer or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, PHP, C#, or NodeJS.

• Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• Good exposure to Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and API integration.

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Have experience in developing high end web based software applications in various areas related to SAAS (Software As A Service) is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD tools is a plus.

• Experience in Frontend Development (Angular/React/VueJS) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
