Your Key Responsibilities
As a label backend operator on our Operations team, you will help keep our catalog running — from getting releases out the door to making sure our artists and writers receive their rightful royalties. No prior copyright knowledge is required — we provide comprehensive training. Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Release & Catalog Upload
Upload songs and releases through our distribution and publishing platforms, ensuring artwork, audio, and metadata are correct and delivery-ready.
Manage the backend release workflow so nothing slips through the cracks.
2. Data Upload & Registration
Prepare, upload, and register catalog metadata (works and recordings) to our publishing admin platform, Songtrust.
Ensure every registration is complete, accurate, and compliant so royalties flow correctly through the pipeline.
3. Data Monitoring & Reconciliation
Monitor, gather, and meticulously compare music usage and settlement data from multiple sources.
Check data carefully for accuracy and consistency before further processing.
4. Song Metadata & Sheet Management
Update and maintain databases and spreadsheets of song and recording metadata (titles, splits, ISRCs, ISWCs, contributors).
Clean, standardize, and reconcile messy data sets so our catalog stays neat, consistent, and audit-ready.
Your Qualifications
Fresh graduates are welcome; working experience or studies in any data-related field are preferred.
You are proficient in spreadsheet applications (MS Excel, Google Sheets, etc.), including cleaning and organizing large, messy data sets.
Hands-on experience with SQL, data visualization tools, combining data from multiple sources, and maintaining or analyzing large data sets is appreciated.
You have a keen eye for detail. You are well organized, very reliable, like data to be neat and tidy, and can keep track of things.
You are self-motivated, open-minded, communicative, international-thinking, and passionate about data and analysis.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
German language skills are a major advantage. An affinity for languages is desirable, as you'll be working with song titles and usage data across diverse languages (currently mostly German & English).
You are an Indonesian citizen and currently based in Bali (or willing to move to Bali).
