About the role
PT Jiangsu Hengli Hydraulic Indonesia is seeking a skilled Machining Operator to join our manufacturing team in Cikarang Pusat, Jawa Barat. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our production operations, ensuring the precision machining of components that meet our exacting quality standards.
Key responsibilities
Operate and monitor computer numerical control (CNC) machines and conventional machine tools to produce components according to engineering drawings and specifications
Set up machinery, including installing cutting tools, fixtures, and work-holding devices, whilst ensuring proper calibration and alignment
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machining equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety standards
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance with specified tolerances and quality requirements
Record production data, material usage, and machine performance information accurately for quality control and inventory purposes
Identify and troubleshoot minor machinery issues and report significant equipment problems to maintenance personnel
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Machining Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment, ideally with 2-5 years of relevant experience
Technical knowledge of machine operation, including CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, and other precision cutting equipment
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and work instructions accurately
Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometres, callipers, gauges, and coordinate measuring machines
Minimum education is Diploma Degree
